For GBA, great graphics, some cool game play, slightly repetitive.

My first reaction: A 3D game for GBA? Buy It! I might have been a bit hasty, but I was not too disappointed. First of all, what the heck? I've played the original Driver 2 for the PS1, and the best thing about it was the thrilling cop chases and killing your car. There is none of this here, with no apparent damage to the cars, and you only get chased by cops in 1 or 2 missions throughout the entire game. Sure, it's nice to shoot pedestrians and cars with the new feature :the gun, but there is nothing doing unless they are enemies.
Game play gets boring after a couple hours, and the hidden items are spread out across an entire map, (thats hard to find!!!) One thing that really turned me off of this game; if you die you restart with half health and the same ammo as you left off with, well if you are in a gun fight after dying once, with half health and little or no ammo, you are DEAD.I can't talk all trash about this game though, this is one of the few decent car games for the GBA, and its 3D, as Stan Lee would put it, 'Nuff said. If you are looking for a little something different for the GBA, then it;s here, if you are looking for a portable Driver game, it ain't.
