Enough already with the GTA 3 comparisons. Sure you could go anywhere, and kill anybody......but was that game really that FUN? Sometimes it's nice to have things a bit more spelled out for you, as long as the music's pumping, tire's are squeeling and there's a good storyline kicked in. (All except "storyline" which applies to fan favorites Project Gotham Racing and RallySport) Sure, this game doesn't have the graphics of those other "Racers"...but those "Racers" don't have Guns, Boats, "Top Quality Hollywood Voice Actors" and a Storyline. And Sure, sometimes the DRIVING MECHANICS can make me scream at my Television or my Controller....but....It is making me react, not just sitting there pushing buttons. Remember the Good Old Days when games made you LAUGH, or made you totally upset as you were trying to beat a level. You'd Quit for awhile, only to come back and try to beat that level again? That Type of game is hard to find, and GTA 3 wasn't it. I was totally suprised when I rented DRIV3R, because I wasn't expecting a game that was actually "Pretty Fun to Play" Sometimes these REVIEWS are way to harsh. There was a time in your childhood, where you could play with 2 sticks.....as if they were swords. And Yes, you did have fun.
