Driver is kind of a rip-off of the Grand Theft Auto series. It combines driving and walking around exploring things like GTA, but in this case you're kind of a good guy. The voices and graphics are much better the GTA. But, the story mode is not as engaging and therefore it's not as exciting to play. There is a free drive mode where you can drive around (and walk around) the cities freely. This is a bit fun. There's no challenge to it, really. But, it's fun to drive around, steel cars and even shoot at things. Of course, the cops will chase you if you become a menace, and that makes it a little exciting. The driving simulations are pretty good. Different vehicles react very differently, which makes it interesting. But, control isn't so easy. The vehicle damage is done REALLY well, though. It's kind of cool to see how far you can keep a vehicle moving after you've practically totaled it. Overall, though, the game falls short of being anything too fun or exciting.
