A great game that I still find myself playing every now and then.

User Rating: 9 | Driver 2 (w/Memory Card) PS
Story: You play as Tanner, an extremely under cover cop, in pursuit of a notorious man named Vasquez.

Gameplay: The controls are deadly accurate and instantly responsive. The cops are kinda dumb, but other than that, it feels like you're really in a police chase. They put up roadblocks and try to run you off the road. Except for the cops' apparently non-existent care for the public, the gameplay is extraordinarily realistic.

Graphics: The cars crumple when you hit them and the fire looks pretty realistic. Sometimes while driving down the coast of Havahna, pillars will appear in the middle of the road for no apparent reason. You can't hit them, but this can get very annoying, especially while in a police chase or while trying to make a movie. This also sometimes happens while driving through the tunnels that connect the city's islands. Except for that, the graphics are very good for a PS1 game.

Sound: When you hit cars, walls or anything else, it sounds like you actually are hitting something. The car horns sound different on each car, giving a higher sense of reality. You can even hear cars idling ate the stop lights! The police car sirens are different with each city, giving you the feeling you actually are in Rio, not Chicago.

Value: I got this game brand new for $29:99Cdn a few years ago, and I say it was worth every penny!

Reviewer's Tilt: What can I say, I have a weak spot for driving games, and I feel that the Driver series really defined the genre.
