A great driving game
Gameplay:
The gameplay in this game is wonderful. The thing that is wonderful is the handling of the auto where you are able to make perfect turns, stops, and also able to avoid the police without worrying about the conrol of your car, unless you crash into a light pole. In this game Tanner is able to move around. Controlling him is very simple to do, and no problems like in Driver 3. He also can take any car he wants. As always there are the secret cars to find in the cities, and the missions in the game can go from easy to difficult and vice versa. If you have never played Driver 2 and only the third one, there is no shooting. Tanner does not carry a gun, the game is all about DRIVING, even though they may be a gun or two in the cutscenes.
Graphics:
Now about the graphics, yes they may not be the best they can be, but it's still good for a PS game. Tanner may look like a stick, and the city skyline might look like a cutout, but it's in the cutscenes where the graphics are the best and the buildings look allright. Some fun that you can have with the graphics is sometimes you'll have your car in Chicago and when the bridge rises up, and you are at the top, your car will go through the bridge, and another moment is in the cities you can make Tanner sit in the chairs, but sometimes he might go to sit and then he'll float past the chair and it will look like he is floating in a sitting position.
The sound is fine to listen to with the music they provide in the game, and the sound effects of the police, motors, cutscenes are good enough in this PS game. Wrapping up this is one driver game that no driver fan should miss. It is an improvement over Driver and has that advantage over Driver 3.
