GTA killer

User Rating: 9.3 | Driver: Parallel Lines PS2
I dont know why exactly Gamespot gave this game a rating of 6.5 but believe me, this game is much better than that. While it defintley makes up for Driver 3 screw ups and flaws, it also improves on its graphics and content. The replay value is through the roof with its 120 side missions, all amazingly fun. While the story, though short, will keep you intrigued for the whole time you do it. The missions that hold the story togethor are a lot of fun, they are simple but its not like GTAs arent. The driving is even an improvement on D3, each car has distinct weight and handling characteristics and they arent sliding all over the place anymore. The music in the game is just great, they really captured the 70s atmosphere, while the 2006 music isnt very good they still have a few good songs. Then there is the best part of the game, the cinemas, one word, Amazing. The cinemas are even better than the those of Driver 3. I dont know how they improved on D3s cinemas but they did. If your a fan of Driver, GTA, the Getaway...ok thats it, this is a genre, and why does this genre not have a name, I'm making up a name, this genre of game(GTA, Driver, True Crime, etc...) is now called MFRs, Modern Free Roamers. So if your a fan of MFRs then this is defintley a game you should pick up
