Jeff Gerstmann's Review is wrong, please read a review that is not
First off let me say that after playing Driv3r I swore off the franchise forever, I saw Reflections as bunch of no talent hacks, much like Jeff and his fan boy intern, and on top of that I wasn't even going to rent it, I originally went to BB to rent Godfather, but was rented out, so I picked this game up, and I have to say I was pleased.
This game takes you trough a 28 year story line with a script of cinrmatic quality. The cutscenes are full CG, and beautiful which already makes it better then any GTA game to date. you play through 2 era's;1978 & 2006,both have there very own and unique HUD, Vehicles, and Weapons Alot of the city has a physics engine that is alot like a early version of HaVoK, all the cars feel like they have their own weight and handling abilitys. Not to mention that the Big apple is accurate to the street sign, for instance in 1978 you can see and visit the World Trade Center, and in 2006, there are no towers(RIP).
Another thing that makes it better then GTA is that it is in a REAL city, not these fictional rat holes R* likes to put us in. This game is better then GTA3,Vice city, and is on par with San Andraes.
One gripe I have about the game is that there is no jump button...what were you thinkin reflections! Other then that this game pushes the envelope for sandbox gameplay, which means that Saints Row, and the next GTA better bring it!
