It has a Driver 2 feeling which i felt it needed for Driver 3
- Awesome soundtrack for the 70's
- the cars are awesome
- the cut scenes are enjoyable
- 70's era is fresh and so alive
- day to night sequence
The Bad:
- 2006 music is not as great
- weapons are not as cool in 2006 as in 79
- cops are idiots
I do not know why Gamespot gave Driver: Parallel Lines such a low score. This game has improved greatly from Driver 3. Driving feels better, auto aim and free view, and New York is huge! The driving is crazy, speeding through traffic to get away from the cops. Into alley ways and great drive-by shooting. At first I thought the story line was pathetic, TK gets crossed and wants revenge. I could make that up, but when you play it goes further than that. When TK got out of jail I wanted to see those guys (who I don't want to spoil the names) die, even if it meant smashing to innocent cars and running over pedestrians. Its a great game, if you are new to the series, rent it, if you are a hardcore or just a fan of it, I say buy the game. It's only 39.99
