It's called driver but driving is such a poor aspect.
Music is okay, it's licensed music like the gta series has. I'm not really into the 70's music though. You can change songs by pressing up on the d-pad. You can change from ordinary camera angle to cinematic by pressing down on the d-pad. Accelerate is X and brake is SQUARE. I have to tell you there is no emergency brake that gta has which lets you negoticate those tight corners. They could have included one on the R1 button too because the R1does nothing.
Driving sucks in this game, it truly does. I'll keep making comparisons of this to gta in this review. The driving is nothing like gta3 or the others. Your vehicle sucks at manuevering the heavy traffic. And that's also what sucks, the traffic. I find myself smashing into a car every 30 seconds. And really this game wants to restrict you from speeding because when you go over the limit (I never see any speed signs so I have no idea what the limit is) the cops are after you and man are they annoying. You have to lose these bastards who smack you around and when you're on foot shoot you with a shotgun. Road rules should not be allowed in a free roaming/driving game because you want to speed, that's the fun in a game like this and these cops are what made driver 1 crap.
The cutscenes are pretty cool looking but you don't pay a retail price as high as this game to watch a few cutscenes. Another point on driving I want to make is reversing. Can it get any slower? I'm in a rush to get away from the cops and here's this pile of crap on wheels reversing as slow as possible. This game could of had potential and be on par with the gta series but no. With the poor driving, annoying cops, road rules that shouldn't exist in this game, traffic that slows things right down and the scenery that doesn't really impress me, I can see why people would call this a gta rip off. Please, rent it first because you don't want to waste this much money.
