Good improvement on Driv3r

The Driver series was a sucess on the Ps1 but sadly on the Ps2 things have gone downhill for starters GTA continually makes the driver series look bad and likewise for the Driver series. This petty rivalry truely hides the true features of driver games but luckily this one has passed the test.

Players take on the roll of TK a wheelman in 1978 New york who is betrayed and sent to jail for the good part of TK's life emerging from Jail as a man in his 40's. This feature has a dramatic impact on the game as in the 2006 era the cars, locations and weapons have upgraded along with time. There is also a wide variety of cars and weapons and a large map with features such as street races and the things you would expect from driver games. There is 76 different types of cars in the game and everyone can be customized improving the games experience. Also the game features 30+ missions on top of amazing cop chases and side missions. Of course the game has its flaws with TK being an absoloute **** and running like a rag doll and thinking he is the best wheelman when he is crap. Also there is some parts where your character falls through the floor but the game should still be checked out.

The sound is actually annoying with all the 70's music but that might just be my taste. Also the game has an amazing variety with cars and the like and should not be missed.

If your not a fond Fan of the driver series then rent this first and see what you think but buy it because the fans will love it.
