A great improvement to Driv3r, with numerous drawbacks and problems. Worth buying...
First Impressions: Just as I inserted the disc and waited for the game, I was certain that it has made a great improvement to the Driver series. The Atari introduction (with the muscle car chased by the police) grasped my attention. I started the game and made the very first missions, and it's just great. The cut scenes are wonderful and are WAY better than those for GTA. The graphics are much improved in the game itself. The audio is much better and has improved, especially the soundtrack of the 70s.
It took me an hour (or may be more) to get used to the gameplay and controls, because I'm really used to the Driver gameplay.
The gameplay is still not too good, the car hardly responds to your input, not like in GTA.
As in conclusion, Driver 4 is a wonderful game that's worth the buy. It succeeds in placing you in the right mood of the 70s and makes a good image of the lifestyle. I recommend you to buy the game as it is worth it!
Have fun!
