The fourth edition to the driver series is a great free roaming mission-based driver with plenty of hours gameplay in both 1978 and 2006. Driver Parallel lines is the first Driver game without Tanner as the main character, instead of Tanner there is a new guy called TK(the kid.) Driver Parallel lines is set in New York City and TK is the new kid in town. His job is the driver. The jobs Tk has to do include things like picking something up for someone and dropping it off without any heat,Races for cars or money etc. As it is a free roamer TK can get out of his vehicle and walk (probably over to another car to steal.) Vehicles can include a cop car,a taxi,a school bus,a bulldozer etc.,all there ready to take to your garage, store and mod up. There are two parts to the story one in 1978 and the other in 2006. Between the two story parts everything changes including your characters looks, the soundtracks(from blondie to the kaiser cheifs)and the vehicles available to steal and keep(of course you'll still have the vehicles that you stored in 1978 in your garage.) The cutscenes in Driver are as realistic as the actual thing and the graphics in the gameplay are incredibly aswell. The soundtrack in the game are good enough for any style of music to like driving to both in 1978 and 2006. Overall Driver parallel lines is a great game that everyone that enjoys driving will love. The missions aren't as dull as everyone says they are and the collectable cars are great aswell. He's the newest, he's the best,TK is the Driver!
