It has been A LOT of time since i enjoyed a single-player gaming experience THAT much! Congratulations to Ubi!

Truth is i've been a huge fan of Driver 1... I used to spent one too many hours just driving like crazy around the city when i was a kid. Driver 2 was a let down for me.

Also, i wasn't expecting much from Driver 3, you see lately i've seen almost all sequels to be a major disappointment for fans of the series (Mafia 2, Dragon Age 2, Crysis 2, Far Cry 2, and UNFORTUNATELY many more). I really started loosing faith in solo gaming. Then Witcher 2 comes along, and now Driver 3 to blow my mind!

Graphics, incredibly beatiful (if you don't count the humans who's textures and animation reminds us of 2006 games). Animation, arcade like and fitted to the series, just right!

Sound, i loved the music and i loved the voice acting! Amasing!

Gameplay, one word. FUN! Right what it's supposed to be! Driver 3's gameplay can make you feel like a kid again and just run around in the city changing cars or just bringing chaos for hours.

Scenario, although i can't say it wasn't somewhat predictable i loved the way it was done and shown to us. Through cinematics accompanied by 3D animations and in-game screens. A very nicely done plot which will stick you to the chair wanting to see what happens next (or in my case, waiting to see if what you suspect that will happen next, is indeed going to happen :P). I won't lie, i enjoyed it like i've enjoyed few games' plots in the past 10 years!

So a few words about the game itself:

Like in Driver 1, you don't play as a pedestrian (forget about GTA, if you came here looking for a GTA clone, you're in wrong place dude)! You may switch cars through the magic of soul shifting (Explained in the plot). You will be progressing the plot through event missions and you can also do (tens, maybe hundreds of) side-missions to get money, buy garages to unlock cars and buy them, get upgrades for your "main plot car", get "more income" abilities, etc.. A really LARGE number of real cars awaits you (Audi TT, Audi R8, Hudson Hornet, Nissan Skyline, etc.). The cars you buy dont affect the plot's missions but do help you in the side-missions!

A little about the storyline:

You are a cop, who along with your partner take a call to get a fugitive named Jericho who just escaped (with help) from prison van. Something though goes really really bad when a truck runs you over. You then "magically" return to action without a scratch. But with brand new psychic abilities and more, what the hell happened? The plot unravels quite fast (problably around 10-12 hours to complete it) and REALLY NICELY DONE, you'll feel like seeing a TV series. But the replayability of the game is massive and also there's the multiplayer with 9 different modes! I haven't tried the multiplayer yet so i won't be explaining it here.

I really recommend buying this game, it is really worth it! Bug- free, fun gameplay, beatiful storyline, amasing voice-acting, lots of cars, lots of events!

My bravo to Ubi on this one! I wasn't let down as a fan of the series and that is not easy!
