Welcome to another game review by me, BARULEZ! Here is a game that will blow you away. The guys that brought you Destruction Derby 1 and 2, GT Interactive's and Reflections' Driver. You are the hitman, name Tanner, who is going undercover for the police and your job is to do missions for the mob. The gameplay is so much fun, that I want to go through it again.
It's a very good experience in driving games. You can crash cars, make mayhem and get chased by cops. It's like Grand Theft Auto with better graphics. Although the presentation is average but to me, I think the gameplay is better than none. Anyway, the first you need to do in order to unlock two cities and cheats is to beat Undercover Mode. In Undercover Mode, you started with a car garage test with objectives, like 180 spin, 360 spin, lap, etc. When you beat all that and don't want to do that again, saved it and you will never go thru that test again. The test its not hard but got to watch out with cars, columns or the wall. Now, you can choose missions from four different cities- Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York. The level design is top nunch. NY looks so real, you can see the Madison Square Garden and Statue of Liberty. No other Playstation game will ever get great level design as Driver. There are other modes like Take A Ride, Checkpoint, Car tests, etc so the replay level will always be high. Well, there you go. Have fun, crash cars, police chases and cheat if you have to (Hee Hee).
