Fans of The King will enjoy this game, others, not so much.

User Rating: 7.5 | Duke Nukem Forever PC
Duke Nukem Forever is one of those titles that you see and think "Wow, that got released? I thought it was dead!" and you pick it up. Now, here is where you ask yourself "What am I expecting?"

If you're expecting a AAA shooter, you're not going to get it. If you're expecting a revamp of an older game with a new story, that's exactly what you're going to get and honestly, that's what I was looking for. Some people call it lazy design, but I thoroughly enjoy the game despite the fact that it's cookie cutter and relatively linear. It's, to me, just a reskin of D3D and that's a huge plus to me.

No, this is not a huge shooter, it's not the best game on the planet, but if you're a fan of Duke Nukem, you'll at least appreciate the game. That's where I've found myself, and I'm perfectly fine with it. Good game for the price point now, you'll have a couple of hours of fun, then you can go back to your Battlefield of Duty: Black Company 7.
