An Honest Review

User Rating: 3.8 | Chronicle of Dungeon Maker PSP
Ok, a while ago i made a review for this game and gave it about 9.8. After playing this game for 2 or 3 levels I give this game a 4. The idea is cool, build a dungeon then go slaughter whoever comes in, however, they took a cool idea and made one of the most dull, lifeless, and boring games I have ever played.

Just like another title from this company - Valhalla Knights, this game is amazing at the beginning but turns out to be ridiculously boring and frustrating, repetitive, and overall crap.

The whole game is based on the idea of building a dungeon. Cool!!!. But, the problem is that the building is extremely limited to common-looking straights, T intersections, bends and the such. The rooms look really cool though when you change a dull looking store-room into a nice office or a chapel.

The game switches between character creation and dungeon creation but the problem is, neither one is very in-depth. Your character doesn't level, you save money from killing stuff and selling their drops to buy new gear/spells etc., or you can just use their drops to equip on yourself. Sounds like an interesting game.... but it really isn't.

This game lost it's appeal after the first 2 levels when i realised there are 10 levels in the game, and i started getting more frustrated than excited over playing DM. A really cool idea, but really repetitive and boring. Do not buy this game unless you want to waste a few days and then realise "i wish i hadn't wasted time on this crap", I am an honest reviewer.
