Though there isn't anything new to challenge DS fans, its still worthwhile with the new monsters and weapons.

So what if its been a few years since the DS series came out, I can say that LoA is your average expansion pack to a great game. Basically, you fight monsters with a group of teammates while using swords, spells, and axes. Make no mistake that LoA is an expansion pack with nothing new or challenging. Fortunately, you might forget all that with the new monsters and weapons (The new pack-animal is cool by the way). However, like DS, you play Diablo-on-Steroids. Like old-school DS do you hack-and-slash anything that comes your way. Like DS do you encounter abysmal voice acting. So, you can tell that if you want something challenging from this expansion pack, don't bother. However, if you are a DS fan that'll like new things, buy this.
P.S If you are looking foward to playing DS for the first time, pick the expansion pack first because I think you get both the original game and the expansion pack. All for about $10-$15.
