Fans of the Old SSI - Forgotten Realms games that won't play on the PC anymore will enjoy this blast from the past.
The controls are clunky, the art isn't dated, it's original Wolfenstein bad. The characters get hit and unfortunate sounds of women's shrieks issue forth which have no freakin relation to the context. It's fun, and for the price it was worth every nostalgic penny. Trust me. If you still pine for Azure Bonds and Pool of Radiance (The first one, not the newer one from a few years ago) then this is a gem. I've played a lot of D&D in my day on PC and on consoles, for the quick fix, blast from the past, hardkore old-skool folks out there that remember when Hackers was a new and innovative flick.... it just works. If you see it on the used shelf and it's priced right, give it a whirl to see what us old timers thought was cutting edge back on our Commodore 64.
