Old school slug meets new technology!

User Rating: 8 | Dungeons & Dragons Tactics PSP
When i first got the game i opened DND Tactics with such glee of a zit faced ridden teenager..just like the days way back when i first got the Gold Box series! I must admit that i was not impressed with the layout and the presentation when i first powered up the game....making characters was very uninspiring(if that is a word) but yet was compelling at the same time. There is grammer mistakes (One that sticks out is the scion whos character description says as weak as a fighter...which should say weak as mages or wizards... After your character or characters are made up you jump into the game.

The game is slow.....but at first i was like this sucks...not much story, not much action...not much of anything really....but something was keeping me playing until the second or 3rd mission...where the game starts to pick up. An atachment forms with the characters, A story starts to form and make more sense...One of the best cut scenes are in this game, not flashy but draws you in...i wish i could explain it better.

The game is very addictive....the story keeps you coming back to find out what happens in the next mission. Neat little surprises..but i wont ruin them for you. If you are looking for an old school tactics game like Pool or Radiance (gold box set by ssi) that keeps you coming back for more then this is the game to get!
