Very classic D&D feel on the PSP. I love options for my characters, and this delivers.
While there are tutorials and what I consider a decent manual for a portable game like this, there seems to be an assumption that you have at least a passing familiarity with D&D, and RPG ideas already. Also, this is a long game for me; I'm 50 hours in, and have just recently reached Act II. Assuming it's as long as Act I, This will be giving me plenty more time to play. And unlike some other games, the length seems right on this one; until I realized there even was and Act II, I had started to fear that the game would be wrapping up too soon. This also succeeds already at least in my interest in replay. Not done yet, and I can easily see re-playing this game with a whole different set of adventurers with all different classes.
Obviously if you didn't like D&D on the table top, you won't like this, but if you have fond memories of whiling away an afternoon (or more) with pen and paper, this is a good fill in for getting the good stuff on the go.
