No matter how much you want it to be, it's not Dungeon Keeper
I've been looking forward to this game for some time. I thought "finally, a game to continue the Dungeon Keeper series" and Dungeons does look scarily similar to Dungeon Keeper. However it plays very differently.
The goal isn't really to build up a dungeon, kit it out and then use strategy(even basic strategy) to win and not to mention possess your minions, like in DK. I think this is why i've not enjoyed it, because i went in thinking it would be a DK game.
If you go in and play the game with an open mind and some patience then this game may not be too bad. That is my fault and not the games
Gameplay
The gameplay is very simple, fill up the dungeon with items that cause prestigue, then when heroes are filled with prestigue, kill them to harness it. Simple.
I don't find it particularly fun and feel its a very clunky game with an interface that could have been simplier, its almost half Dungeon Keeper half RPG.
Graphics
The graphics are not too bad, much better than I was expecting. Good shadows and lighting effects
Sound
The music is very good, the sound effects are what you'd expect
Overall
You may like this game if you don't expect it to be Dungeon Keeper 3. But I find it to be very boring, unimmersive and not what I was after. Please consider the demo before buying.
Also for those who hate DRM, it has got DRM. But it doesn't cause any issues.
I score it a 6.0
