probably the best dynasty warriors game
Dynasty warriors is taking place during the olden china wars, and they tell the true stories of the many generals and such you play in the game.
All you do in dynasty warriors is pick a level, start it, and then hack n slash everything you can. Thats it............
you can have rpg elements but they arent that much effective. You can collect secret items that raise your health bar and special move bar(mosou).
You also have gaurds which are brain dead idiots. You can level them up but all they do is follow you around............they dont attack, they just stand there. Sometimes they will attack but hardly.
This game is really repetetive but can last long because there are so many generals to unlock and they all play different. Most of them play different at least, the rest play similar. You can level up some to a high level and then just experience their moves. Its pretty fun.
dynasty warriors 4s graphics arent really breathtaking. The environments are flat and bland. The draw distance is horrible(it looks like theres fog in the area). The characters however look pretty detail, they have nice armor, and good looking weapons.
The sound in dynasty warriors is decent. The acting is kinda stale. The background music is actually pretty good, ranging from rock to chinese music. The rest you hear are the over exagerrated slashes and clubs from you weapons and the screams of your enemies.
Dynasty warriors 4 is basically the only dynasty warriors you need to play. The sequels coming out are just gonna have a few more characters and a nicer menu screen...
