dw 5 is a revolution in fun with the only downer being the loss of edit mode from dw 4, it is the most graphically advanced in the series with the videos bringing life to all the characters in a whole new light. the gameplay is however repetative and unless your a fan will bore you after the first 2-3 hours with nonstop hacknslashing all the way.thankfully the loss of edit mode introduced 4 completely new people making a total of 48 playable characters.the introduction of all new challenges to challenge mode(obviously) bring a break if your bored and multiplayer options are co-op mode allowing 2 people to join 1 force( wei wu shu or the random other force which has lu bu meng huo and many more.38 levels have been completely redesigned but all the old favorites are still there like hu lao gate and chi bi. bodygaurds dont come as packs now you only get 1 but they eventually prove their worth by becoming a mini officer even being able to kill the mightiest of officers, their weapons ranging from fans-spears-crossbows. with the new attacks musou rage and evolution a spectacular 9 hit combo and all characters having their own unique story line dw5 will keep you busy for months providing hours of play at a time while easy to pickup it also is a struggle to master it's a brilliant game to start on and i and many fo my mates would easily reccomend it to anyone as it's historic and fun.
