Not quite the same as the ones before it. New systems, new ways to attack, lost characters, but old ones revamped.

User Rating: 8 | Shin Sangoku Musou 5 X360
Concept:
The same as the others. Take part in one of the most historically exciting eras of Ancient China. In the later years of the Han Dynasty, the land of China was split into three warring kingdoms, Wu, Shu, and Wei. Fight as top generals and warriors from these three kingdoms to get your's to the top of the scramble. Tons of characters to choose from. There had to be ONE with your kinda style.

Graphics:
Eh, what can I say about Dynasty Warriors? They haven't always had the best graphics. They still aren't even close to the best. But they are a huge improvement from others, trust me. The frame rate is far better. There can be many, MANY more enemies on screen nowadays.

Gameplay:
Controls are all the same. But now you've got the Renbu attack system. Get your Renbu bar maxed out to unlock new combos to unleash. There is no longer a weapon levelling system. Now you've got your Normal weapon, your Technique weapon, and your Strength weapon, each with different effects.

Enemy AI / Difficulty:
The AI is still stupid. They stand there and wait for you to attack them, while occasionally throwing in a hit themselves. That is, until you go to higher difficulties. Then they attack ferociously. And it does some serious damage. To even hope to take on Chaos, you'll likely need a character to be level 80. The max is 99.

Learning Curve:
You will pick this game up very quickly.

Replay Value: Moderate -
This one all depends on how much you like the game. There are plenty of Musou modes to hold you over. Even then, there are mini games, and dozens of warriors to level. Its all up to you.

Hope this has helped ~
