I almost shed a tear playing Dynasty Warriors 7. Finally, some new gameplay and improved graphics. Although its voice acting still hasn't gotten any better, the game feels refreshing to play compared to its predecessors. The suprising thing is, it retains its same hack and slash style but doesn't feel like you've done it before. The cheesiness of this game is still the same, a little more logical cut scene would be much appreciated. It feels awkward seeing Zhang Fei shouting at Chang Ban bridge and soldiers being blown away by his voice. Could have improved it by toning down the exaggerated storytelling. The controls are pretty much the same but added a new button to call a horse to your side which is an improvement because, you wouldn't want to run all the way from the north to the south and then back up north again doing quests in the game like saving Liu Bei's son in the battle of Chang Ban. Overall it's a good game although there is still much improvement needed in the Dynasty Warriors series and fans might want it cause its worth picking up.
