Just like DW2 but with all the glory of up to date technology. Brilliant!
Just like in DW2 players must defeat enemie officers to obtain increased Attack, Defense and health, But they ended up stoppin it. Well they finly brought it back with DW7 and this is what makes it great. Theres also a skill tree system when defeating officers you also gain points that you spend on making your warrior stronger like bigger longer combo attacks, Extra musou gague, and extra range and that, Even though there ismt alot of difference between each warrior.
The story of DW7 is and will always be the same as befor but we cant go changing that can we? It follows the story of the 3 kingdoms, Sun Ce of Wu, Liu Bie of Shu and Cao Cao of Wei. But this game puts more detail in the story than other games in the series, Instead of the "Select a warrior and follow that follows story" which was a long and boring procedure, This time is just focuses on the 3 kingdoms main story line which is alot better and still very long. It also brings in a new kingdom called Jin which follows the Sami clan based years after the 3 kingdoms.
Theres 2 modes in DW7, Story mode, which just like i said before follows the stoiry of the 3 kingdoms and the awesome new Conquest mode which is alot like Empires were you move one space after another around china building your own army and generals and basicly making your own Kingdom, Each block on the map has somthing different to offer, Sword blocks which grants you a new weapon, An arror which increases your stats, Cities were you can visit and recuir people, buy weapons and more, and do legendery battles and many many more.
Is this the best in the series? yes. it is. Why? Because it intruces the style from DW2, It also includes something like the exspantion pack with Conquest mode, greater and new stories and many more which is why its the best. Even though the game can lag with graphics when too many enemies are on screen and same old hack and slash but its so great.
