I'm very disappointed. KOEI did not want to spend any time for this game so they packed it with naked girls and bishounens and thought that was enough to entertain the gamers. The graphics are so outdated that I can not believe my eyes (no change since 2007 when DW6 was released). The game itself is so easy and boring, that playing it I have a strong feeling that I'm playing a game for the mentally challenged. There are no time limits, no differences in reward for playing "normal' of "hard", no save limits, no treasures along the maps, no bases to capture, no structures to destroy... there are nothing that made old games of this series for PS2 interesting. AI is dumb beyond repair. All you have to do is to move from one enemy officer to another and kill them one after another. You do not even have to use you brains – move from here to there and be the strongest as your allies are helpless and enemies are dumb. If you have to breach through the gates, go to the catapult (which is politely shown to you) and press a button three times. That's all, the castle is captured! A great number of the maps have been taken from DW6 and DW6 Empires and most of them are completely empty, especially in the Conquest mode. The Storymode is so easy that you have no interest in re-playing it. Designs of the characters leave much to be desired. The only good thing is the story representation and the Romance of the Three Kingdoms quiz is the only challenge you can face here. That's why - 2/10.
