Inovative Version of Dynasty Warriors comes to your PSP!
One thing that is different from the other Dynasty Warriors games is that there is not an almost endless time limit. You can increase this limit by capturing specific points on the maps that will give you extra time. A must when you are about to fight the enemy commander.
There are two other things that set this game apart: first the officer system. Each officer has a unique set of abilities that allows them to support you in various ways. Some officers can boost your stats, other let you cross hazardous terrain without a penalty and then some can even heal you in battle. This adds a bit of strategy into the game, in the other dynasty warrior games you could run around and kill stuff and you'd be fine. Here, that's not an option since if you run out of either morale or time you lose. This game is not for someone who just likes to go off and kill stuff.
I do have two problems with this game, first you can't really control the camera to see if something coming up from behind you. This gets annoying whenever an enemy officer combos you from behind and kills you. Secondly, the framerate starts chugging when there are many enemies onscreen. This gets annoying really fast, this has killed me a couple of times during a mission.
Pros: Game adds tactical strategy, keeps the feel of the original series
Cons: Framerate chug STILL an issue, awkward camera controls
