Perfect on the go, despite the psp's limitations. And this time playing it isn't too easy.
In this version you're still a nearly invincible soldier who fights for various factions and causes. Your armies conquer areas by demoralizing the enemy and you do this by killing enemy officers and troops yourself. You get to choose guards before each battle that provide different powers and upgrades for you to use in battle which adds a strategic depth not found in the other versions.
You just press square, triangle.... and square square square..... you get the point, it's a button masher. You usually go to a crowded area and start fighting, as you usually end battles quicker that way by killing the most enemies the fastest. Also having an info screen right next to your battle screen means you never have to look back at your main menu to navigate thru the battlefield and check your time limit.
Besides mousu (campaign) mode where you fight and win battles for your faction (wei,shu,wu). Other modes are included like free play where you play in battles that you have unlocked thru musou mode. With over 20 characters you're sure not to get tired of playing as the same one. The graphics are downgraded for the psp a little, with the characters textures being bland and such. Even the draw distance was lowered so you see even less of the battlefield at one time than before. This is one of the best dynasty warriors though, and I strongly recommend it if you just have to have your DYNASTY WARRIORS fix.
