This is a great, classic space shooter for the SNES. The main premise is pretty straight forward, shoot everything you see. For its time, this game had excellent graphics and music, and they still hold up quite frankly. The game has a little something more though: a slight RPG element. As you destroy enemies and bosses, you get points, which are like experience. If you get enough experience you gain a Level. What's cool is that as you gain levels, your weapons become more powerful. Add to that, at the beggining of each level you get to choose what weapon you want to use for that level. It's a simple idea, which translates into something very fun. There are only 6 experience levels though, and only 6 main levels to go through, so you will be done with this game in a very short time. Still though, it's a pretty fun ride, and a good way to spend a few hours.
