Earthbound is by no doubt a Nintendo classic. It combines a serious plot with humorous gameplay. The game is based on an alien invasion of Earth surrounded with evil. One example of the humor in the game are foods that can be used to restore health like a hamburger or a sandwich. There are also enemies like a 'Pogo Punk' or an 'Unassuming Local Guy'. I have never played a game quite like this. The game lasts for hours, adding to the lengthy plot. The basis of the game makes up for the older graphics and sound, although they were amazing for it's time. This is why even years later, I still recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good game to play. This game is magnificently daunting and a true original.
