Earthbound is a great game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is a very unique rpg. A true nintendo classic. A shame the sequels weren't released out of Japan, but fortunatly this one was. The only flaw with the game is the battle system which can get very irratating. But a great game for its time. Like many other RPGs the battle system is much the same except for the fact that you dont see your party and most of the time you are readind text frim the screen. Although one feature i like is that if you run into an enemy you much stronger than you dont battle them. I feel this makes up for the other flaws in the battle system, which seperates it from other RPGs like the Final Fantasu series where you need to battle an enemy you run into. A true classic and will never be too old.
