This game is part first person shooter, part satire on video games. You'll see segments which rip off other popular titles, from Wild West gunfights to the Max Payne series and so on (not least the movie 'Tron' as well). FPS fans will see enough challenging gunplay to try this game on its own. Even if you aren't in it for the jokes, you will find that this is one of the harder shooting titles in a while. Let's just say you'll be very grateful for the Continue feature. Also, the duck-and-cover function is central to your character's success. It's different from that in other games. Practice it as much as you can before you get going. Then, remember to pick up extra ammo each time you see it. If you do that, you'll be able to make some good progress. There are achievements at various points, for those of you who look forward to that. All in all, 'Eat Lead' is a game that will be fun for trigger fans, and has more of a plot than one usually sees in these things.
