It's Hazard Time... But I'm not too happy about it.

Well Matt Hazard is "Back" though he's never actually been in any games before, and if he were in any previous games, then he probably wouldn't be here today. This game is not bad at all, but it has "bargain bin" written all over it. And guess what? that is exactly where I got it, it was between this game and ghostbusters. I think I made the wrong choice.
I came into this game with a very open mind. I really thought I was going to like it a lot, and I did. But not for very long. I played it for a while, then I started to die a few times, then a few more times, then it got ridiculous, fast. That was the first fault I saw in the game, and I was about to see a lot more faults fast.
Okay, I lied, the first fault is the graphics. They are, well shall we say "Bland" it's really not much to look at. I have a high-def tv, and it was still pretty bland.
The next thing you will notice is that the shooting action is pretty bad. I think the developers tried to learn how to make a shooter by playing a few N64 games, when they should have been playing Call of Duty.
This game really wanted to be the next big series in games, by making a believable environment, using new features and gameplay, and by making it as funny as they can make it. It fails on all of the above except for the funny part. This is seriously one of the funniest games I've played since portal.
So this review has been kind of confusing I'm sure, but let me wrap this up as simple as I can. This game does merely two things right. It has a good sense of humor, and the cover mechanic is great. Other than that, its just bland, boring, mediocre. Absolutely nothing great about it at all. If you want to play it, pick it up on amazon for a few bucks or give it a rent. But take my word for it when I say you won't be playing it for long.
