A highly addictive PSP puzzler, but without the high difficulty, it might have been better for younger gamers.
1. Good Value
2. Fun
3. Addicting
4. Good Challenge
5. Nerdy Goodness
6. Proves Something
7. One of the best in Genre
8. Good Visuals
9. Good Original Score
Sometimes, games just aren't worth it. Echochrome is worth it I am happy to say, for it is addicting and lengthy, resulting in pleasuring you for a long time. The challenge is good for all players alike. And for all you nerds, this is a good way to test how smart you are. The game ultimately proves that violence, language, a story, and loud noises aren't needed to craft a stellar game. I never really liked puzzlers, but Echochrome brings out my inner love for puzzles. The visuals in the game are not only wonderfully bland(in a surprisingly good way) but they are also fun to look at overall. And to end the good, the score is absolutely great, like the fLOw soundtrack, being calm, yet undeniably graceful. But now, the bad:
1. Too hard for newcomers
2. A bit bland
3. Will not appeal to all
Newcomers will find Echochrome hard and bland, therefore it does not appeal to all audiences. Sometimes the game seems terribly bland at times. Phew, I hate saying the bad.
In the end, Echochrome is good how it is, yet hard for the new gamers. But I am happy to say they did well with this highly addictive adventure.
