A whole new kind of puzzle that's both intriguing and addictive.

I must admit, I've always been a fan of M.C. Escher and anything to do with perspective, so when I bought my boyfriend a PSP I just had to try this out and it may appeal to me more than many gamers. It's hardly quick or exciting in the usual way, but it has become an intriguing addiction for me.

At first it seemed quite simple, but it gets pretty difficult on some levels. Even when playing a level after first figuring out the solution it's not easy so even though I have completed all the levels I find myself picking it up again and again. Trying to beat my best times has gotten even more challenging and it's fun to find ways to shave off even a second.

If you have just a few minutes you can play just one level in "atelier" mode or run through a few random levels in "freeform" mode. If you have a bit more time you can challenge yourself on a whole "course" in "atelier" mode, which is a group of eight levels. This makes it a great game on the go, which is perfect for daily PSP use (such as while riding a train a short distance) as well as a game you can pass several hours with. It's just what I love to have on a handheld system.

It's truly a unique take on puzzling and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys looking at things a little differently.

The only downside is that there aren't even more levels, although it's hard to complain about only having 56 levels on a downloaded game!
