Empire Earth III

Absolutely horrible. It gives me a headache just thinking about it.

I loved Empire Earth I and II, and have many fond memories playing the game with my friends. We were young at the time, but still enjoyed teching up from the stone age all the way to futuristic jets, it had a unique appeal you didn't find in most games. I had high expectations, but I at least thought that this game would be somewhat DECENT, instead I played one of the worst games I have ever seen in my life.

Do you know those kind of games where it's so badly made and messy, that you start getting a headache? This is that kind of game. The graphics are awful, the sound effects cheap, and the gameplay recycled and unoriginal. I remember having units not listening to orders, terrible pathing, and uninspiring unit designs.

This game effectively beheaded this series. If they ever make a sequel for this game, it would have to be absolutely spectacular to resurrect what this mess of a game ended.
