Thank god for 'god mode', this game is hard.
The graphics are top notch. The characters and environments are excellent looking. There are two storylines you can play, light or dark. It's almost like 2 separate games, although you do have to complete light mode before you can play dark. The story itself is good. Whether you're playing light or dark, there are multiple characters to choose from, each with their own abilities and weaknesses.
As for down sides, in case you missed it, this game is HARD HARD HARD. 'God mode' really does save this game, because there are no mid-level saves. If it wasn't for god mode, there would be an incredible amount of repetitiveness and frustration. Also, when starting a level, you don't know what you're getting into, so you really have no idea which character is best suited for that particular level. The gameplay can also be a little frustrating at times. Often you have to move towards an enemy to effectively attack, which often finds you standing behind the enemy, and worse, the enemy attacking you from behind. And the projectile weapons are even more frustrating, there is no auto aim, you have to be a great shot to hit a moving target. I just gave up and used only melee weapons or magic weapons, which were decent.
Overall, it's not a bad game. I had never even heard of it until I got it, but I wasn't disappointed.
