Gameplay: The gameplay in Enemy Zero is a mixture of good, and bad. First, the bad side. There are 2 modes of gameplay, CG Search mode, which is a Resisident Evil-style item searching, and First Person mode, which is a acted as a first person shooter with a stunner gun. The CG Search mode can be boring. You are in a room, and you'll often look around to find items. The pace is pretty slow, so it can become very boring this way. There are many puzzles found in Enemy Zero. Some are really easy, and some are really challenging. The game itself is pretty hard. On the good side, the game features an interesting shooting mode which has enemies that are invisible. So the only way to shoot them down, is to listen to your sound system that you are aqquired later on. Sometimes, it can get confusing, so you might end up dead quickly before you know it. So, all and all, the gameplay is a mix between really good, and really poor. However, Enemy Zero features a very strong sense of a horror type of atmosphere, which can be addicting to horror gamers. Graphics: For a Saturn game, the CG cutscenes are simply stunning, and even are sort of on par with today's CG programming. The Atmosphere in Enemy Zero is really strong when it features its horror feel, and drama feel in the cutscenes. Many textures in the cutscenes are so well detailed, you won't believe it's programed on the Saturn's hardware. The polygons are nice too. With its horror feel, playing this game when it's nightime, with no lights on, and its all dark and quiet, gets a good heart thumping feeling when playing this game. I highly reccommend this. Sound: During your gameplay, rarely ever music is played. The only thing you hear is whispering horrific type of echos in the backrounds. If you play the game in the dark, the sounds make you feel scared sometimes. When music is played during the cutscenes, it is really stunning. The game features music that give a horror and emotion feel. The music itself fits perfectly to the game's style. The voice acting is good, but it has a few minor problems. One big problem is the awkward lip movements. The characters most of the time move their mouths when they are about to speak, or just finished speaking. Also, some characters could have had a better effort on their lines. Also, the game's main character, Laura, rarely ever speaks, even though she really should. Conclusion: Regardless, even with a disappointing and challenging gameplay, Enemy Zero still has an interesting style of play though and a great atmosphere that its the best ever in video games. If you give Enemy Zero a chance, it might be a worthy game for you. The Saturn really needed a game like this. A game with a horror feel and also a mix of great storyline and style. Fans of Kenji Eno (creator of the D games) will definitely like this game. Pros: -Great Horror feel and atmosphere -Interesting First-Person mode -Stunning CG graphics -Good music Cons: -Really hard game -The game is kinda slow in the Search mode -Can get boring sometimes
