great game, but with some obvious flaws. plus $20 on amazon, pick it up!

I found this game on amazon for $20 and decided to pick it up, despite the mixed reviews. I'm not yet finished with the game, I'm about half way through, but there are some obvious pros and cons:

- great story and characters. I instantly felt connected to Trip and Monkey and feel their tension as they become closer and closer. story keeps me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happens next and it's hard for me to put the controller down and stop.
- combat is a bit repetitive, but I think it's good and fun. there are a good range of different enemies.
- graphics are a mixed bag. I think the scenery and environments are lush and vibrant but I think the characters could have been a but more fluid and detailed. I also sometimes find that the characters words weren't synced correctly with their lip movements

overall, I think this is a great game. If a bit more time was put into making it it could have been a fantastic game. but definitely pick it up while you can for $20 on amazon, very much worth that price.
