A game that we needed.... Buy it!

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is a very thrilling and action packed game. I waited for it to go down in price and got it for 15 bucks at Gamestop. Should I have gotten it the minute it came out?........... Lets just say YES. This game is really good, Andy Sirkus did an amazing job with Monkey. The game starts you as Monkey and your in a slave ship. Its a post apocalyptic game so robots are scattered around the world. You get out of the prison and the ship is about to crash, there is one escape pod left and you go for it and this girl is in there. To make a long story short you both crash and she puts a slave head band on you and you have to do whatever she says. Take her back to her home, if she dies you die.

This whole game is just fantastic. You go from running and jumping on poles, to fighting crazed robots. It really reminds me of Jak and Daxter. It reminds me of an old-school classic game. Now lets go to the graphics, they are phenomenal Monkey looks great, Trip (the girl that put the head band on you) looks equally as great. The surroundings can be a little "poky" and "clanky" but there good. The Mech (the robots) are very bland, but that's what makes them Mech. The gameplay is great too, the way Andy Sirkus portrayed Monkey was amazing. To play as Monkey is very rewarding, he runs and fights smoothly. Sometimes the Mech totally go gang busters on you and its hard to get out of the fight. If your an expert gamer play on hard. If your new to games like this play on easy or normal... Trust me. My personal favorite about the gameplay was when Monkey pulls out the Cloud (a hoverboard type object) and rides on it to cross water, riding away from robot type dogs, and making your way through obstacles. Sometimes Trip gets in my way, or doesn't listen to my command which gives me cheap deaths. And checkpoints are Very Very Very rare. And the next thing I see is my controller in the Tv. But other than those little bugs, this game is awesome. Its a definite buy for anyone who likes classic games like this. Remember noobs play on NORMAL....
