The game play is the best thing this game has going for it. A combat system that opens up a world of possibilities.

Game Play- 10, graphics- 7, sound- 8, value 8 This is how I will be scoring my games for review. The overall score I give is 8.2. The game play is what makes this game enjoyable. I pulled of some wicked moves, and the visual experience of these fighting scenes will stick with me for years to come. They are imprinted on my mind like an awesome movie scene I watched, but better because I know I caused it. Once you master the controls, a world of moves become available to you. One time I entered matrix time jumped towards 4 dudes, grabbed this fool by his arm, kicked him then threw him at the one of the other guys. Then existed matrix time which is just a click of a button, I punched one of the remaining bad dudes a few times then kicked him in the air, entered matrix time and ran past him, then turned around and kicked him again the opposite way before he hit the ground. THIS is what gamming is all about. If this game had better graphics, been a little bit longer, and LET YOU be NEO, it would have been the ultimate gamming experience. Fighting an agent was very satisfying because he puts up such a good fight. There is this one time you have to run from an agent, you leap from building top to building top, slide down ramps etc, this was awesome. I have no idea why gamespot thought the game play was a 6. Maybe the person reviewing this game never learned how to open up the moves? I say give it a shot, learn the moves, learn to do what I described above and tell me that is not worth at least a 9 for game play.
