Eve of Extinction is a pretty decent game. Just a 3-d brawler like Gamespot says. The game has an okay plot that could've been presented better. The combat is simplitistic where you start out with a couple of weapons at first you can only make three hit combos, but the more that you use the weapons the more hits you get from them. At certain poitns in the game you'll discover your weapons special ability that you activate by pressing on the right analog stick and using it to draw a shape. The special abilities range from attacks to recovery, to invunerability.. The combat is constant and there is a few platforming, but the game isn't quite good enough to get anything beyond a 5.
