Eragon is just another lousy movie tie-in.

I think a lot of people will want to buy Eragon the game because they think the movie looks awesome so the game must be too. Let me say to those clueless individuals that that is a horrible choice.

Eragon the game for the DS starts out like the movie does. Now, if any of you have seen the movie then this is probably not a good start to you. But oh, don't worry. Eragon then makes you do a bunch of meaningless tasks that have no relation to the movie whatsoever. The storyline is brash and boring, and won't catch your attention.

The graphics range from decent to poor. For instance, the character designs are OK but the backround graphics as well as textures are pretty ugly. Overall, the graphics are nothing for Vivendi games to be proud of.

The gameplay is kinda fun at first but the heinous camera angle cuts off any excitment the game has in store. Like the graphics, the gameplay is nothing to be proud of.

The extras are terrible. Like, there are these unlockable levels that have not meaning at all and will disappoint and frusterate gamers.

Much like the film, Eragon the game is dumb and dated, making for a real lousy experience.
