From the start, this game reminded me soo much of the Ultima series for some reason (particularly Ultima 8 Pagan) to the point it got me thinking it was another Ultima Game lol. The game starts with your typical character creation screen (and no it's not like Ultima in the character creation lol, no questions as to what you would do lol), once you've created your character you start the game to an expanding storyline, filled great gameplay (if you like games like Diablo and Ultima 8 Pagan for all the older gamers). So if you dont mind the graphics of this old-school styled RPG .. this would definitely suit your fancy.

Just finished Eschalon Book 1. The description "old style" is appropriate. The game was enjoyable and brought back memories of older Dungeon and Dragons titles and some of the old Origin games. I do have some criticism... Read Full Review
