ESPN basketball is a good game. I think the graphics are excellent,the only thing that always and has bothered me with this series is how stiff the players move the animation seems to clunky, don't get me wrong it is a small gripe but to me it takes some of the fun out of the game for me. I like the 24/7 mode a nice addition. I am not a fan boy of this franchise or that one, i just want to play basketball games with relalistic movement.I bought nba live this year, a game i hated last year, me and the kids love it. It's got great movement ,very fluid. My favorit game last year was inside drive only because of the realistic drives to the basket, the layups the way you see in the real game not because it had a lot of other gimmics attached that's cool but i perfer the more fluid stuff. my sons are all ready telling me to trade espn for something else, when you comepare gameplay,fun factor, wow did you see that factor, live wins for us.If espn can put more life like motion in it's players, hands down the best all around,until then it's all the way live for me, this year anyway. Hope this makes since.
