Sega's sports series in my opinion has always been the best and ESPN NFL 2K5 backs up this theory. Everything in this game is superb, especially the graphics. The way the light hits the jerseys is so realistic. The animations are top-notch from the way the players run, to the way they tackle. Every detail went into this game, from the coaches to the Gatorade jugs on the sideline. The SFX are good too, its just that the same grunting sound is played whenever there's a collision or struggle. Oh well. The gameplay is second to none once again, and the coolest new feature is The Crib. As you use your user-name and accomplish certain things in the game (such as rush for 500 yds in the game) you get trophies, and medals awarded to you which are placed in the trophy room of your "Crib" which they give you in the beginning. You can also buy furniture and mini-games for your house as well. All this comes together to make a game much better than Madden 2005. Hey and this game only has one turbo button. Go figure.
