I have had this game for two years and have not bought or really played any other football video game. There is so much to keep you playing it over and over again. Its has a terrific look, feel and sound to it that makes feel authentic. Game-play wise it does not play much different than previous version of the 2k serious expect for the running which is improved on the difficultly aspect of it. The graphics are sharp from tackles to making defenders miss or the presumable better custom features is being to include your stadium music. Sound wise the game gives the bang, biff, bam and even a little smack talk from the players as you expect in a football game. One of the best features is the custom staduim music. You can include your favorite music to start playing at different points in the game like after a touchdown or before a kickoff it's all up to you. One downside or annoying problem is the sound will disappear for few seconds then reappear. The announcers are what most sports game announcers become, repetitive and a little annoying at times. The game gives you the job of running an NFL team from dealing with the salary cap to signing free agents, trading and resigning players along with the draft. This is just a great game. But sadly this is it for the nfl 2k serious. EA and the nfl are taking full control over NFL video games with an exclusive deal. While others will just pick up another madden game. I'll stick with my nfl 2k5!
