well its been almost a year since espn 2k5 came out, and i have to say this is my favorite game for xbox. i cant stop playing this game even though they dont have the updated rosters. this game has great graphics, awsome gameplay, and awsome sound effects. i used to be a madden head before i picked this game up. and this game has changed that. i really hope the licence agreement for ea ends soon cause madden keeps feeding us the same graphics, gameplay, and garbage since the 04' season. i mean maddens big comback for this game was just to add better defence and gimmicky garbage like qb vision. i love this game and i have played this game way past the 100 hour mark. this game is the closest thing to watching a game on espn. and the best part this game was only 20 bux. For those people who say that recivers drop passes when there wide open have never seen a real game and are probly used to madden where you can be 4th and 50 and make a completion for a tochdown. this game is really realistic and makes palying a football game like actually controlling a broadcast of an espn game.

THE GOOD:
1. AWSOME graphics especially if you have the hd cable
2. great profile system that makes it feel like your playing your buddies
3. in game sounds are awsome you feel the hits and makes great use of a sound system
4. menus are quick and easy to navigate
5. plenty of features to keep you buisy for a long time
6. the franchise mode is awsome
7. can customize your own music within the game(xbox only)

THE BAD:
1. the crib mode is not all that good, but you can igonre that
2. first person football is a nice idea but poorly executed
3. the announcers in the game at sometimes say the wrong things and can become annoying
4. the learning curve can be a little challenging, since you need to use every button and joystick on the xbox controller

dont get me wrong i did give this game a perfect score all around, but it has some querks that one could ignore in fact 1-3 of what i put as bad can be avoided and can be ignored, so in conclusion this game is perfect, and an instant classic. i wont go back to madden until they could make a game that could beat this one.
