When I first bought this game I couldnt understand how 2k sports could sell there game for $20 bucks. Knowing full well the quality of their products I snagged whatt would be my first football game since Madden 01. But from the moment I played that game I can honestly say that the features in NFL 2K5 kept me hooked for weeks. I spent countless hours messing with the franchise mode features. Anything from your team's training schedule to managing your player's salary year by year (something Madden still hasn't gotten around to doing). The graphis were good for its time but the presentation blew you over. After every week of the season I watched Boomer's recap and it was never the same. THis game will forever be one of my all-time favorites. A legend done wrong by the EA exclusive buy-out o the NFL license- which is something I resent Madden for even as I find myself playing it. Who knows what would have happened if NFL 2k6 were around to compete with Madden. We wont find out 'til EA's contract with the NFL is up.
